CPT codes 99453, 99454, 99091, 99457 and 99458 are used for remote physiologic monitoring.
16 days of data each 30 days must be collected and transmitted to meet the requirements to bill 99453 and 99454.
Clinical Trial Tool
Provides passive reporting, longitudinal data, convenience, and tracking.
Reduces operational costs, and better engage patients with their recovery.
Enhances understanding of the effects of treatment and objective measures of intervention effects both in-clinic and in remote free-living settings.
Hospital at Home
Powers patients to receive hospital-level oversight and care while recoving with the comfort at their home.
Delivers high-quality, safe, and affordable acute care, while significantly reducing costs, readmissions, and healthcare use compared to traditional hospital care.
Customized Services
Customized size for different scenarios available
Technology
What is Ballistocardiography (BCG)?
BCG is a non-invasive method based on the measurement of the body motion generated by the ejection of the blood at each cardiac cycle.
The downward movement of blood through the descending aorta produces an upward recoil, moving the body upward with each heartbeat. As different parts of the aorta expand and contract, the body continues to move downward and upward in a repeating pattern.
BCG waveform is highly related with electrocardiogram (ECG) waveform, showing the same repetitive pattern. In the graphs below, the J-J interval of BCG is almost identical with the R-R interval of ECG.
Heart Rate Variability(HRV) Consistency Comparison
As the graphs below shows, the characteristic parameters in the BCG waveform obtained from Fiber Medical Product is consistent with those in the ECG waveform.
